Considering the Impact of Immigration on Higher Ed

Issues have layers, which is one reason Vanguard worked with the Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute at The George Washington University to engage college presidents in a conversation about the intersection of immigration and higher education. Vanguard provided strategic event counsel and promotion, as well as on-site staffing and support, for a first-of-its-kind Forum on Higher Education and Immigration. The event was designed to explore and increase public understanding of the ways in which new immigration policies are impacting colleges and universities and pave the way for these education leaders to advocate for policies that are inclusive and recognize the tremendous contributions of immigrants to the educational experience.
