Showcasing an Impactful Legacy to Diverse Communities
La Clínica del Pueblo has been providing high-quality, culturally appropriate health care services for low-income Latinos in the D.C. area for 40 years. Vanguard collaborated with La Clínica to develop a strategic communications plan to highlight this important anniversary, including an update of their key messages. We engaged their staff, their patients, donors and their board, taking an audience-centered approach to create meaningful messages, strategies and tactics to demonstrate La Clínica’s social impact. In addition, we created media materials such as targeted media lists and pitches, and secured media placements in top news outlets, including El Tiempo. We also developed and conducted media and spokesperson training for the organization’s leadership so that they could effectively carry key messages to target audiences.
