Demonstrating the Value of Investing in Students

Annual reports are big opportunities to show funders, donors and many other stakeholders invested in a project or organization how their participation has led to real impact. Vanguard worked with VFCCE to write, design and package their annual report in a way that would chronicle the programs and the people who benefit from support from the many organizations and individuals committed to higher education in Virginia. We developed report theme options, helped to shape existing program descriptions and developed a few new ones. We laid out the report in a compelling style that blended eye-catching photography with streamlined copy to tell the impactful story of community college education. Designed for both print and digital formats, it featured personal vignettes of students who are succeeding, spotlights on donors whose gifts have changed lives and illustrated data on the financial health of the Foundation.
