Protecting the environment and identifying sustainable, clean energy sources are issues that often sit on the backburner of public policy — regularly overtaken by more pressing concerns. Understanding the devastating consequences of inaction on these issues, Vanguard has made environment, conservation and energy issues a top priority since our founding in 1987.

We organized the historic Earth Day celebration in 1990. We helped start the national conversation about climate change more than two decades ago. And we worked to secure permanent protection of public lands and national forests. Today, we’re still fighting alongside our clients to ensure a healthy future for people and the planet.
